The Department of Politics and International Relations has expanded its international reach with a new intensive short-burst exchange course taught in Hanoi exploring the politics, development and international relations relating to Vietnam.

The module will be offered as an optional integrated part of the Politics and International Relations undergraduate programme at the University of Westminster, offering up to 15 students a two week scholarly exchange with the University of Hanoi.

Dr Farhang Morady, departmental lead for Global Engagement within the Department of Politics and International Relations, says “the module is a prime example of the University’s commitment to internationalisation. We have recently been named one of the world’s most diverse universities and this new module gives our students the opportunity to gain international experience, build their employability and work towards understanding questions of social justice and inequality in global politics.”

Professor Dibyesh Anand, Head of Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster, describes the module as: “innovative, both in terms of its design and delivery. We are asking academics and students to work together to make sense of the economic, political and social challenges within developing countries.

The module forms part of the refreshed curriculum at the University of Westminster. Dr Thomas Moore 500 Internal Server Error
